EU KLEMS: capital, labour, energy, materials and service

EU KLEMS is an industry level, growth and productivity research project. EU KLEMS stands for EU level analysis of capital (K), labour (L), energy (E), materials (M) and service (S) inputs.

EU KLEMS data

Originally financed by the European Commission under research framework programmes, the Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs (DG ECFIN) has supported several further updates to the EU KLEMS productivity database, aligning it with official statistics according to the latest statistical standards and classifications.

The most recent available EU KLEMS data produced in 2021/22 are available at the EUKLEMS & INTANProd website of LUISS University Rome. In addition to traditional EU KLEMS variables, this release also includes data on intangible asset categories which go beyond those recorded as investments under current national accounts standards.
