Description
The coin features a Vatican Guard standing in front of the Dome of St. Peter’s Basilica. At the top, in a semi-circle, is the inscription "CORPO DELLA GENDARMERIA 1816-2016". At the bottom, in a semi-circle is the name of the issuing country "CITTA' DEL VATICANO". The mint mark "R" appears on the left of the design and the name of the designer "D. Longo" appears on the right.
