The ex-post evaluation of ten MFA operations across the three regions was undertaken in accordance with the corresponding stipulations in the underlying Decision as adopted by co-legislators, the European Parliament and the Council.

The mid-term evaluation was conducted in line with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2021/840, which sets out the Pericles IV programme, and was based on an independent evaluation carried out by Ecorys.

The evaluation of the European instrument for temporary Support to mitigate Unemployment Risks in an Emergency (SURE) was completed in February 2025 and covers the period from its creation in May 2020 until the end of its use in December 2022.
