Description

Is European housing overpriced – how to tell?
Significant increase of house prices in the recent years has been broad-based and the overvaluation risks has increased across the EU, notably since the COVID-19 pandemic. This raises issues both for the financial stability and for housing affordability. This workshop aims to share experience about tools to monitor and assess house price developments in European countries and beyond. To this end it brings together housing experts from national central banks, international institutions, and academia.
