Alessandra Bonfiglioli is a Professor of Economics at University of Bergamo since September 2022 and a Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research since 2009.
Previously, she was first a Reader and then a Professor of Economics at Queen Mary University of London, Assistant Professor at University Pompeu Fabra and a research fellow at the Institute for Economic Analysis in Barcelona. She earned a PhD in Economics from Stockholm University in 2005 and a BSc in Economics from Bocconi University in 1999. Her research focuses on international trade and growth and inequality, with a special focus on automation and AI.
