Description
The Commission is launching a call for proposals for the ‘Pericles 2020’ programme.
This programme funds staff exchanges, seminars, training sessions and studies for law enforcement and judicial authorities, banks and others involved in combating euro-counterfeiting.
Initiatives can be undertaken in the euro area, in EU Member States outside the euro area and in non-EU countries.

How to submit a proposal
The instructions and rules for submitting proposals, covering all relevant information, formalities and documentation can be found in the following documents:
In case it will not be possible for the applicants - due to the exceptional impact caused by the Corona crisis - to send the application by post/courier service within the indicated deadline (21/09/2020), the Commission will accept that the electronic version of your full proposal is sent by e-mail - to ECFIN-PERICLESec [dot] europa [dot] eu (ECFIN-PERICLES[at]ec[dot]europa[dot]eu) - and that the paper version is sent as soon as possible.
The proposals must include the following standard forms, accompanied where indicated by the required attachments:

Applications must be submitted in paper format (one original and one copy) and sent to the address specified in section 14 of the Call for proposals either:
- no later than 20 April 2020, 23:59 (CEST) - for actions to be implemented after 1 September 2020
- no later than 21 September 2020, 23:59 (CEST) - for actions to be implemented after 1 January 2021
In addition, applications must also be submitted by email to the following address: ECFIN-PERICLESec [dot] europa [dot] eu (ECFIN-PERICLES[at]ec[dot]europa[dot]eu)
Proposals submitted only by email are not accepted.
Please note that the postmark date or date on the deposit slip to the courier service or date of receipt by the Commission (in the case of delivery by hand) will serve as evidence.
